East Central Illinois | We’ve run mojos for a couple years, all no-till. I wouldn’t want to plant without them, especially in these last couple years when closing has been a little tougher. Even if closing job is a little spotty, seeds are embedded in the bottom of the seed trench. The concept makes sense from a seeding stand point, makes sure the seed has soil contact on all sides. Rebounders don’t do any real firming that I’m aware of, mostly guide that seed to the bottom. Plenty of criticisms of mojos, but we haven’t run into issues when it’s fit or too wet. | |
