N.W. Illinois | I did the same thing a few years ago. Twist hose connection came off on 1 row behind the sprayer. Didn't see it until I went to fill and looked the sprayer over, made quite a few rounds. I was applying 15 gallon of 32% and 3 gallon of ATS p/acre. However a much higher amount p/acre was dumped on the row underneath where the hose came off. Cooked the corn like your photo.
New leaves emerged just like normal. After a couple of weeks I had to go out in the field to find the row, I could not see it from the road.
I kept track of ear development. The ears pollinated like normal. As the ears developed they were the same size around and length compared to the rows next to it all the way through maturity. The damage had no effect on yield for us.
Keep track of the damaged row, it will be interesting to see what your experience is.
