Agreed! Same with nurse crop oats, especially with the daily showers we've been getting lately.

I generally agree, but we had a week of hot and dry recently and I dry baled my oats and peas. Actually rolled them up at night as the dew was setting in to get a little moisture back to hold the leaves together. I cut on a Friday and baled on a Thursday though.

You are fortunate. In the past week we have had rain/passing storms come through 6 of the 7 days. I keep telling myself, though, never complain about getting rain...
