| 1st ) a major change in how farmer welfare is paid, NO MORE per acre welfare CHECKS to farmers back to the tried and true LDP program. The other day someone posted that USDA removed the payment limits on LDP money, this gives me hope that a program shift might be on its way. There was rumblings ( I posted about it 2 or 3 months ago that AG leadership in the House and Senate were looking to increase loan rates for a couple years and look for the old LDP program to work it's majic. Couple that with change in adminastration in November and the end of the Ethanol wavers and Blame China redericate we jump start demand and .50 to a dollar jump is a cake walk. | |
