It makes them bigger and meaner. :).
An old timer here used to knife in anhydrous and he had some clean Bermuda.
I spray acephate 97 (orthene) on cotton ground for thrips and aphids. Fields stay ant free. I can remember dumping 50lb bags of orthene in a sprayer years ago to take out fire ants. Then the label changed.
