Subject: RE: RPM Tolerance on Rawson Drive

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I'm very confused on this RPM thing. The Rawson documentation seems to suggest that a range of 100-300 is desirable. Since you are well within that range I think that is good.

As far as variation, I'm not sure.

We are currently working through some problems with Rawson drives and speed feedback circuitry with the Insight and the Stepper Module. I am very confused on the issue at the moment. We have some drives where the speed circuitry has been damaged and the Insight reports that the drive has stalled when it is in fact turning. I understand the reason for this is that the Hall effect device has been damaged.
