northeast ohio | Brother in Law has a TMX2050 RTK with Intuicom 4G modem (Verizon?). Steering is an EZPilot. It has been loosing RTK fix frequently which disables the steering and FieldIQ. XFill standard has only kicked in once or twice. The satellite icon is orange / red when this happens and there are plenty of satellites in view (12+). This happens regardless if using the CORS or PLM RTK+ network for VRS corrections. He normally has to restart the display to get it to RTK fixed again. Any ideas as to the cause or solution?
Tempted to have him request a CenterPoint RTX demo for a couple day to determine if it’s modem cell service related or something triggered by steering or field IQ.
Note - All spring we have been running two TMX2050’s which are VRS Direct unlocked (no modem) on the same two networks and likely same towers without issue.
