Northeast Iowa | I've had a lot more of those destroyed when the wire is yellow compared to red or black. Made me wonder if birds were chewing on it. I think Premier Fence had some black wire that they used. Didn't seem to get chewed as badly. Red wire works well. I bought a bunch of these on Amazon for about $2.99 last year, but now they're $7.17 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005XW9MCW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_ti... Then I make my own length with red wire instead of having a lot of slack in spots or one that comes up two inches short.
