The Arctic Cats from that time frame seemed "cheap" to me but they were definitely workhorses and did seem to last. I like that their 400's were "full-sized" machines, maybe not what everyone is looking for but tall guys tend to feel cramped on most 350-450's if they aren't full-size frames.
