North Central Illinois | It could be but it's a little tough to say right now. I think traders are starting to keep an eye on things for sure but probably aren't willing to buy into anything of any substance for a few weeks yet. If we start missing good chances of rain on a regular basis that will peak some interest. There is cornbelt rain forecast for late this week into next week. If that falls through it might start things in that direction but I think traders are pretty reluctant to put a lot of weather premium in this market with the carryover in corn. | |
