Subject: Maiden voyage of the BW150 wrapper - questions abound

Southeast MN
Cut a little waterway grass yesterday and rolled it up this afternoon and got it wrapped by 3pm.

This is my first time wrapping any kind of bales. I think the wrapper did ok, 30” rolls were just a bit over 20” when stretched on the bale. 8 revolutions to cover the bale and roughly 50% overlap so I wrapped 24 on the counter.

Is this stretch about right?

How many layers are enough? I think I have about 6.

When wrapping, you use less netwrap or same amount as dry bales?

The bw150 is an enorossi and 4x4.5 bales work well. I did one 4x5 and worked good too but the loader noticed the extra weight.
