dont know about the smart!!! Just we are where we are!!! Only 2 months i have not combined corn here july an august an if anybody has any standing yet this year i am going to help so i can say i have combined 12 months!! Every area has it problems at some time

I was being pretty sarcastic and I can understand why guys in north and South Dakota complain about guys in Illinois complaining about the conditions of their crops when USDA says most are 75% good to excellent... the fact of matter is it’s just not true... btw picking corn that many months out of the year is understandable in a bad year... what makes me scratch my head is pictures on Twitter of guys finishing picking corn in late May ... and a spreader truck loaded with urea ready to spread so they can do it again... that isn’t being tough or smart that’s just down right insane and stubborn.... how can that turn out good with so much nitrogen being tied up by residue...
