800 bu an hour is a pretty good amount for a 20hp motor. To consistently blow that much grain probably going to need a 30hp system. I've got a 20hp 3ph motor run by a 40hp VFD. Think you will need at least that size or bigger. I doubt seriously I could hit 800 bu an hour with my system.
No way you will accomplish this with a single phase motor.

I have seen multiple single phase motors belted together to accomplish what one motor will not. Local Co-op used to have two electric motors on their NH3 pump. So to say it can not be done with single phase motors is a stretch.

There is also the Written Pole single phase large electric motors...up to 100 horsepower.
