ncia | and now this new drama. I was not a huge supporter of dicamba use and have had one drift issue on my beans in the past(might have been diflexx) I had gotten to the point I was planting dicamba resistant beans as a defense for other peoples off target spray.
We did spray dicamba/outlook very early post this year on newly emerged beans on a heavy weed pressure farm. It has worked like a million bucks so far. Sprayed early enough to avoid problems. I have also contacted many neighbors to find out their plans for the year . Problems can be lessened , but there still will be vapor drift.
this isn't an option for everyone, but continuous corn solves a lot of problems. dicamba, waterhemp, aphids, sds, thistle caterpillars, you get the idea. In my part of iowa, there is ALOT of corn on corn this year. a bunch!!
good luck to all
