Central Minnesota
Ted Bear, that almost sounds like what I did except I did it on a Raven 450. I found the 6 wires that sent the hot out when you wanted to turn on sections and spliced soldered a wire from my remote controller to each one. Turn on Master switch and turn off individual  boom section switches to make it work. So then I had to hook a hot wire and a control wire to each leg of my 6 section remote control.  I can have remote set to latched or unlatched so you don't have to keep pressing button to keep it going.  Had hardly any money invested and it worked like a charm.  But like you said it takes a few wires if you are going to do every section.
