| A couple of things to consider:
1. we tanked the economy on purpose (or as covid collateral damage if you like that better)
2. Prior to the lock down, the economy was running fine and except for some media knot head suggesting the end is near (same people who convicted trump 17 times btw).
So once opened up folks went back to work or stayed home and went back to work. There is plenty of damage, but many of the small businesses will find there is demand for their products and services and will likely attempt to restart their businesses. It's not a stretch to think the economy will rebound pretty quickly to 90% of previous with the last 10 percent having to deal with the shut down killing their business or rioters burning it down (I think the demand is there and these folks will find a way to get back in business). | |
