NW Iowa | I have had the same results after starting to follow John’s informative posts last September 1st. My A1C went from 7.1 to 5.6 to 5.2 the beginning of May. During this time I have lost 66 pounds. I would ultimately like to lose another 10-15 pounds by the 1st of September this year, so I continue to march on this journey. I monitor my glucose levels daily and have finally gotten to the point where my morning levels have stabilized in the the 90 to 98 range. I am happy with that. I do get a little annoyed when people have asked me what disease I am being treated for as I have become obviously thinner. I have gone from a 44 waist, to a 40 waist and my next move should be a 36 waist. | |
