. | Before all the COVID crap I was getting groceries at Walmart ordering online and picking them up. I loved it, Quick and easy, then with all the stuff shut down, the pickup availability went from later the same day to a week, or sorry, we are booked over a week, try later. So I've gone back to going in the grocery stores. It's not really that big of a deal. The store I was in the other day had a very simple method of controlling the numbers. They had XX number of grocery carts. Even if you came in for just a gallon of milk or loaf of bread, you took a cart. When the carts were gone, they had reached the maximum number of shoppers allowed at one time. A lot of cars in the parking lot, but the store wasn't crowded, great selection of stuff, and probably quickery than now waiting your turn to pick up at Walmart. Who knows if or when it will ever go back to what it was before. | |
