coast of Maine
We try to leave a cut out in concrete replaced with crushed stone, makes eventual dig up easier, makes easy spot for drips to drain, keeps fork lift and others aware of the pipe,I think we have a dozen on the farm, never fails but one will need service annually, cheap steel rods suck especially if a coupler is in it,Glad to see there is a USA made one as above, will try one.Always use a really good brass hose barb on bottom as the poly ones will crack at the worst time.Have had cheap chink brass pit out in a few years also,in fat just last month ,down at 5 ft,beneath concrete, left a radiator hose sleave in concrete a few years back but no stone surround,10 inch concrete, undermind the floor from outside a bit to access the connection, aagh
