Medford, OK | We have a pretty decent window of dry weather. I’m planting it to the max depth (1.5”ish) to get it in moisture. Said it should take it 6 days to come up. From what I’ve been told, sesame loves the heat. Has a root system like a tree is what is being told. Watched some grow in the area last year and it kept growing while everything else shut down when we hit our typical dry spell in July and August.
There’s a couple chemicals that can be used for grass control and pre.
Variety is S40 from sesaco.
