| That drought map was valid on the 26th and shows that our area was abnormally dry. We were dry until we got 4" of rain within a few hours on the 27th. When it rains it's usually 3-6" every time now. Looking at the historical rainfall for our area since 1893 and 6 of the top 10 rainfall years were in the past 10 years. This new tropical climate has been good for the corn, not so much for the waterways that are now ditches on our hilly farms. |
