Subject: 7030 Allis, power director won't move.

Callao Missouri
I'm working on a 7030. It has been setting for some time. I overhauled the engine, and new spring damper on the flywheel.
Get it all together and drive it out of shop, then it quits moving in the driveway. PTO, steering, and hydraulics still work. Shut it off, come back later and same thing. It has lots of hydraulic noise and gets worse with the clutch pedal down all the way. I stuck a gauge in the top port, regulated pressure. It should be 195 psi. However this tractor the gauge needle vibrates badly, coinciding with the hyd noise. One time you try it, it won't build hardly any pressure. Next time it might have a 100 psi or so but still vibrates bad. When it has pressure it will move. No guarantee however it will work when you want it to. Changed filters, re checked both oil supply no change. I pulled the power director valve off the top of transportation and disassembled it. Can't find anything wrong there. Any ideas from AgTalk land? Thanks
