Faunsdale, AL | All our old pickups and other LP powered equipment have wire reinforced cloth covered hose with field replaceable ends. Have always used it for all the “tank pressure” lines the last 50 years that I can remember.
I think these are “AN” type connectors. Found some YouTube videos of installing them.
Cut it to length with a hacksaw, dip end in oil and screw sleeve on outside of end until it bottoms. Start the insert into the opening of the hose and push it in until it engages threads inside sleeve. Tighten until insert bottoms in sleeve and you’re done. Repeat for other end.

Last one I made was to replace a hydraulic hose that had been installed between LP tank valve and electric solenoid valve on an old 3020. It had been on there a long time but was completely rusted out even though it was 100% protected from the weather under the hood.
