Subject: R404A in a R12 System? 8830 Ford

NW KS/ SC ID
Hey all, got a buddy trying to improve the cooling of his AC in his 8830 Ford, it's currently running R134a and the operator is complaining. Factory R12 converted to 134a.

Evaporator Removed and washed, fan will blow hat off. All new seals, everything done.

Ac is good, but we are looking for great. Operator is picky. ;) He has some R404a for his butcher house. Will R404a work better and gain a little bit more performance?

Is there an updated condenser available for an 8830? He commented that it looks rather small.

Any input appreciated,
Thanks!
