Where do real marketers go to talk about the markets?
There used to be some here, but they are wired differently. While generalizations dont apply to everyone, the real marketing people seem to have huge egos and instead of sharing knowledge for very long they typically got into a p-ing match with each other and talked more about themselves than the markets, and eventually got thrown off for arguing and talking trash too much.
The few with some people skills tend to want to attracte people to their subscription services, and only share teasers without explaining anything for free. Which is understandable, but doesn’t play well on a forum for more than a couple weeks and becomes only static noise, nothing helpful.
It’s a shame it goes that way, but seems to be the way of hard core marketers.
Not good when the opposing teams, the bears and the bulls, are sharing the same locker room, I guess.
