If I remember correctly back to when we had fertilizer spread, the actual floater trucks could go pretty fast(road speed) not the "tractor" or the sprayer type but the jacked up semi type. Am I remembering correctly?
Anyone bought an old one and put a sprayer on it? I mean it doesn't sound like a bad idea for $3k and some time. Or are they pretty rough? Probably wouldn't use it for spraying crops but for burn down.
2WD and 60 foot boom
then they made the 4wd and 120 foot booms on the row crop ones
I think The floaters are like 10,000 heavier then the 4wd's
An old Versatile with saddle tanks and three point booms will go where the old floaters won't
and go 13.7 mph in the field
