I like to make them where they are just a hair tough yet. Will smell sweet coming out but feed like dry hay. Yes use full plastic. This winter we will have an ice storm and you will smile the when yoi feed a bale of that, no more frozen net to the bale! As long as i can find room to put a row ill wrap all my dry hay
