Subject: RE: Suredrive vs Vdrive

East Central, Nebraska
im in a similar boat. I am running graham drives which I think are great but it sure would be nice to control population on a per row basis being a seed corn producer. I am likely going to stick with grahams for another year or two and see how this sure speed thing works out. one thing I really like about the graham drives is that they are 12v and I can run them off tractor batteries. I have ran a lot of other stuff on the tractor and never ran out of power (running 16 rows). I am not exited about running an alternator and taking up more hydraulic remotes and more stuff to go wrong. I am fortunate to run them off one monitor (incommand 1200) and also they stay mounted on my row unit so when I take my boxes off all I have to do is disconnect vac hose to vset.
