SC IA | Also on a budget. No more tillage than we do anymore, I can’t really justify spending a ton on anything. Would be mostly using 175-200 hp 2wd tractors and in tight clay soils so I would imagine anything landoll or sunflower would be out of the question. However, we don’t really work hills, only to fill in washouts. I’m thinking some kind of soil finisher. We currently have a glencoe but it doesn’t seem to fill in the trenches very well even pulling another harrow behind it. Maybe that’s just the nature of something with field cultivator shovels? I know they all have their place, but what’s everyone’s opinion on the best tool for our size tractors? | |
