| Where/what are you marketing that only brought that kind of money during the fall run? Looking at Kist livestock reports from the runs last fall 3-4 weights were the only ones that didn’t bring much. Quite frankly I don’t blame buyers for not buying that junk, 5-6 weight steers are what the market wants. If a cow calf operation can’t make $900 steers and $700 heifers work it’s time to get out. If they can’t weather these markets with low interest it will be a train wreck when the tough times get here. | |
