I investigated this too. A local solar guy told me I was better off with a line from power pole than solar setup. About 1500’ from meter with buck booster to get full voltage.
Solar can work, but you will need a huge battery bank and lots of dollars. Other options include a PLC to manage start/stop on an engine. Still expensive..
Nothing is impossible.
