Joe Namath Net Worth: Most of Joe Namath’s net worth and the money he has earned comes from being an NFL player and entertainer. Today, Joe Namath’s net worth is estimated to be close to $18 million dollars.
So why the heck would he stoop to something so low? Donate the proceeds to charity what, I simply don't understand.
Most likely he is "asset rich, cash poor". Maybe he owns a $18 million dollar house, but doesn't have any income to heat it, pay taxes and insurance, ect.....
He really doesn't bother me on the commercials, but I'm not buying anything because a football player from 50 years ago tells me to buy it. But if his employer feels he is worth it, more power to them.
