North West IA/western AZ | Ted, I kinda went crazy and got the DJI Crystal Sky. It is much brighter than any standard tablet and is dedicated to the drone. They are far from cheap but at least I can see what is on the screen. Mine is the 7.8" screen and the normal bright screen. All I lack now is the lanyard to go around my neck. I am still using it with the plastic screen cover it came with. I need to pull it off. On the negative side is another battery to make sure is charged. I got the mounting off the internet, I know some make their own. As Paul said, buy a good cord to connect the controller to the tablet. Have fun flying.
