Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Be very careful removing the connector from the Clutch Control Module. It is very easy to break the locking tab. I believe the problem is that on some CCMs some of the case material remains close to the connector on the module. This prevents the connector from being "low enough" to allow the tab to release as it should. I have broken a few which I think could have been prevented had the outer material of the case been cut back to allow a larger gap on the sides of the connector used for the frame harness adapter.
I broke the tab on my own personal connector but was able to tie band it in place. I put it inside a small plastic tool box which protects it from getting hit. Mine happens to be above Row 13 on a 24 row CCS and when the planter is down and the units come up, there isn't a lot of clearance between the 1.6 bu boxes ours has and the module. I should have mounted the module in a different location.
