Iowa | The last time I checked prices the wireless was much more expensive than the wired ones and the reason I went with the underground is that I could set the perimeter how I wanted, which keeps the dogs away from the door where guests come into the house but close enough that uninvited guests see the dogs around the house and they think the dogs can get at them. I put the wire in with a steel shank attached to my tractor, then just dropped the wire in the slit. It says 1/2 inch down or so but I've found it can be several inches without an issue. I put mine in deeper because I have hooked my wire with an implement before when it was only an inch down. Sorry, I didn't really answer your question... | |
