Subject: Can an EZ 500 omnistar "feed" an autotrac ready JD 7930?

Southern MN
Bought a JD 7930 that is auto trac ready (has wireing and hydraulic valve). I will be using this tractor for planting on 30" rows, and spraying. I want either omnistar xp or SF2 signal. Price from JD on a SF2 system with brownbox display is just short of $13000. To cheapen this up a bit, I was wondering if there was a way to hook a EZ500 omnistar unlocked to the JD brownbox display and processer to run the autosteer. The EZ 500 would "feed" the gps signal (omnistar) to the JD system. Would this work? What kind of JD keycard would I need? How would I handle terrain compensation?

I know I can get the navII controller and just bypass the JD brown box, but that gets a little more spendy too.

Last resort was going with an EZsteer hooked to the EZ 500.

Currently have an EZ guide plus, EZ steer, and EZ boom.

No other tractors or combine are autotrac ready.

Thanks for the advice
