We have done similar in the past with success. In the fall of 07 we disc a field and in the spring of 08 put on NH3 and planted. Corn was 180+. We were happy (NON GMO/ corn on corn). The field was rough to spray and Dad complained alot when planting it that we were making a mistake. The stand was good and we came out fine.
