Cedar Rapids, Iowa | You can power the 252 on either the A or B ports. I've used the unit with a connection only to the B port. The idea is that you feed power to one of the ports, and if you're using a RTK radio, power comes out the other port that connects to the radio. That way the radio doesn't need to have any extra cables for power.
I would NOT connect both ports to power. If one of the circuits is live, it will probably backfeed to anything on the other circuit. You might find that you shut the key off and everything stays on. You also run the risk of blowing a fuse on the line that does feed the 252.
