NE | I am in the same situation right now except I am swapping to a 2588. I looked on the case parts website for a 2062 head and it had "completion kits" which I believe listed all the parts needed for the conversion. From what I can gather I believe that the 55" center belt is not intended for red machines, there is a 45" center that is the correct one but I think we are going to try and adjust the side belts in to overlap the center a bit and give it a try. I
It seems the dealers around here are not very well versed in the older macdons, because I was also told that the whole center section has to be swapped, but after doing some more searching and asking around I do not believe that's the case. This is the parts list for the afx completion kit, then you would just have to get the single point hookup, drivelines, and maybe an adaptor for the pump.
