It's not taken preventative-ly , it's taken by those who have tested +. There are hundreds of Dr prescribing it, all are reporting excellent results.
one anecdotal "preventative" use - countries with high risk of malaria, where it's a common medication - have very low infection rates. Could be some other factor, but interesting non-the less
If you live in a country that has a high risk of malaria, you might not be in close contact with many people that are world travelers. |
