I think most people don't understand how this works. The common flu kills 20-60k per year in the U.S every year. We know the flu, can test, can treat. Covid19 is a new strain, no test, no treat. To expect less than 200-300k deaths in U.S. is unrealistic AND is still a very "small" problem. Every age is going to have deaths, but 99% who get this will recover. A huge majority of the deaths will be over 80 and/or with multiple underlying issues.

Truely isolate the highest known risk say 10% of population to be safe. Then say another 10-20% that are worried. But truely, seriously isolate this 20-30%, not this half add feel g
Good, soft stay at home b.s. No reason 70-80% cant be business as usual and keep our economy rolling.

Irregardless of how many or few die, this is going to break the entire economy
