NE IL | I’ve got a 23 HP in my lawn mower and it was doing exactly what you are saying. I was sure it had to be ignition related....was just about to look into replacing coil packs....dealer told me to clean the carb. I was sure it wasn’t the carb but I took it apart, cleaned it (no junk was visible), put it back together and it’s run perfectly ever since. I thought for sure my problem was electrical in nature because it was so sudden and erratic but I was wrong. Hope this helps you. | |
