Star Prairie, WI | People in my area are complaining that the parks in town are overcrowded, no safe distance, yada yada yada. The problem is the apartment dwellers and many people even in homes in town think only of the parks in town.
They are not outdoors people, they go from home to work to a restaurant or bar and back home as a daily life. It does not occur to them that there are thousands of acres of public land in this county alone to explore and teach their children about nature at the same time.
We'd likely need a search party for some of them if they wandered into a section of woods though.
