Have a D414 tore apart right now, it was ran low on oil and developed a knock. 4th piston sleeve from back of tractor has some scoring so plan on replacing it along with all new rod and main bearings. Bottom of oil pan has some small copper flakes in it though, what could those have come from? Want to get this all fixed right the first time while its tore apart, planning on putting all new injectors and injector sleeves in as well.
thanks We r just doing a 766 ih,d360 i think,if u ran lo in oil ,anything that rotates in the motor will have some scoring on the surface.Mains, rods, check cam journals very close, and so on ,u will spend $$$$$ |
