If your running 80’ I’m gonna guess you got to use your pan test kit?
What are you spreading?
That’s bad if you found a field you missed picking up the hay,I’ve done that before too,I always feel bad when I find a “new” grease fitting on a piece of equipment I’ve owned a few years.
Hi Frank - I can't thank you enough for steering me to that test kit. That's the best money I've spent in a long time. I spent 4 hours this week in a alfalfa field with it and was really educated on adjusting that New Leader box. We made four passes in different directions in a 20mph wind, then the same passes later in the day in a 4mph wind. I ended up raising my spinner speed, moving the spinners forward, and finding that 80 feet wide was the best width for spreading several different products. I was very pleased with the pattern once I dialed in the different adjustments. I could never have done that without the test kit.
