Subject: Fixing flats and changing tires

Culbertson, MT
With both my son and daughter, I have a rite of passage before they got drivers license. Showed them both how to safely swap out a flat and all that. Then I’d wait a while and suddenly they’d have a “flat” in the yard to deal with. My daughter got right after it, got her spare out jacked up and changed. Rolled the flat up to the shop and was less than impressed when I told her to pump it up and check for leaks- she knew the fix was in, chewed me out a bit then pumped it up and reinstalled. I think she’s only had to deal with 1 flat out n about since then- she’ll be 29 in June!
