West Union, Illinois | I really like these Bates tactical side zip boots. They're halfway between sneakers and boots. There are only a couple problems with them. They are wild oat magnets. It there's one within 20 feet it will be stuck in this boot. The biggest problem is these were not made for water. They were designed for "tactical" use. I guess tactical use means not stomping in the mud.
My favorite thing about these are the side zip. Grandpa had some side zip boots. As I get older a lot of things make more sense
