| We own a sow unit with a few others that employs 9 people. We are aborting 2 months worth of sows and culling deep because the market is saying do your part. This would enable us to get by with less employees so this enable us to keep them on if anything changes. It also has ramifications down the line as caretakers in the finishing barns will not have pigs in certain barns. Part of the acceptance of this loan which then becomes a grant is that you can say without a shadow of a doubt that covid19 has hurt your business. I’d say we qualify | |
