Can you imagine, if the speed control does not turn all the way down, or remove roll pin from handle,,how hard the side shield would be to get off and on.....
Bet that's way the one picture below is cut out...

It's not that hard to get the cover off if you think about it. I rotate the lever to the right then lift the cover up and over the speed lever. Then lower the cover as you pull it back. |
