There is a simple fix to this. Release hundreds, maybe thousands of domestic guilts/sows. Dilute the gene pool. Make them less hardy, more eatable. They would be fat and lazy in no time. After a few years, start hunting.
Hopefully you’re just kidding. Formerly domestic hogs go feral in a couple of generations. In few years most of them will be skinny, black and hard to find and kill.
The woods here are full of hogs with spots, white stripes, red hogs, black hogs, gray hogs and everything in between. They’re all bad and people shooting at them all the time day and night and I don’t think we’ve made a dent in them.
